45 mile bike ride on my 45th birthday

2368 miles in 2010, first ride in 3 weeks, but I had to do it.
Rode over an hour into the 20 mph wind, then cross for 10 miles, then, finally a little tail wind.
Almost saw a head-on between two SUVs, one passing me on a hill, 20 feet in front of me on Burr Rd, wow, close - and there are signs: Cyclists Ahead, Use Caution.
I also saw and said "hi" to the same rider - Rabobank kit - twice, over an hour apart.
The new stretch of northern Munger Rd is now open to cycle traffic - Woohoo!
