Two turkeys! After 3.5 hours I switched the top bird to the bottom and the bottom to the top.

First snow.

New medicine cabinet and lights.With door open, mirrors on back of door and back of cabinet. Ingenious.

New light fixture in laundry room. Brighter with a quarter of the watts compared to the old one.
New lights in bathroom; it is very bright now. Also in this shot is the fresh joint compound on the medicine cabinet area and the additional framing in I had to do. I have since added a second coat of joint compound. After sanding and painting, we should have a medicine cabinet by the weekend.
Two new light fixtures in upstairs hall. Again brighter with fewer watts thanks to a little aluminum foil built into the fixture. There is also a new picture on the wall (Mary under Edison's banyan tree), plus many family pictures out-of-scene, that were buried in Mary's closet and are now displayed.

Wet spots are evidence of the tulip bulbs I planted yesterday while listening to the fourth quarter of the Packer's 34-0 drubbing of the Vikings on Milwaukee radio after the network went to coverage of a "more competitive" game. Only the car radio, parked outside, can pick it up.

Below is the new light fixture in our kitchen. It might not stay there, but it is an improvement. Maybe it ends up in the basement.

HDD Space Issues

I bought a 500 GB My Book. The 300 is full and I need to make backups. I considered the 1.0 TB My Book, but the 500 GB is such a deal at about $120. Now I can have multiple backups of most of my music, for a while.
